Shaping Africa’s Energy Future

Africa’s power supply challenges are immense. In Sub – Saharan Africa alone , nearly 2 out of 3 people do not have  access to electricity. That’s approximately 600 million people who do not have electricity.

The United Nations has set a sustainable development goal of ensuring universal access to electricity in Africa by 2030. For this goal to be achieved , investment in power generation has to increase nearly ten fold . If current investment trends continue though , the UN Goal of universal access to electricity will only be achieved in 2080.

There is clearly a need for breakthrough technologies like ours which is based on a principle of using micro energy to meet macro needs.

We’re committed to bringing cleaner and affordable power to the people of Africa and helping to shape a better energy future for all.
